Teleworld Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates the Smart Life Organiser application (the "App"), available at smartlifeorganiser.com and on Google Play.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

Data stored on your device

The App stores the following information locally on your device only, using your browser's IndexedDB and localStorage:

• Insurance policy details you enter (names, providers, dates, premiums)
• Subscription details you enter (names, renewal dates, costs)
• Event details you enter (names, dates, notes)
• Documents you upload or scan (PDFs, images)
• Your theme and display preferences

This data is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. It remains on your device unless you choose to use optional features described below.

Payment information

When you make a payment, this is processed entirely by Stripe, Inc., our payment processor. We do not collect, see, or store your card details. Stripe may collect your email address to send you a receipt. See Stripe's own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

AI Assistant and Voice Input

When you use the AI Assistant or Voice Input features, the text you type or speak (converted to text by your device) is sent to Anthropic (the provider of the Claude AI model) solely to generate a response or extract structured information. This data is processed to provide the requested feature and is not used to train Anthropic's models. See Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.

Document scanning (OCR)

Document scanning is performed entirely on your device using on-device processing. Scanned documents and extracted text are not sent to our servers.

Email address (optional, for purchase restoration)

If you use the "Restore purchase" feature, you may enter your email address, which is checked against our payment records (stored via Upstash Redis) to confirm your purchase. This email is not used for marketing and is not shared with third parties.

We use the limited information described above solely to:

• Provide and maintain the App's features
• Process payments securely via Stripe
• Verify premium access across devices when you request it
• Respond to support enquiries sent to admin@smartlifeorganiser.com

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Your policy, subscription, and event data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us.
• Payment records are securely handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.
• We take reasonable technical measures to protect any data that is processed through our servers (such as email verification for purchase restoration).

4. Your Rights

Since most of your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it:

• Access — all your data is visible within the App at any time
• Deletion — you can delete individual items within the App, or clear your browser's site data to remove all locally stored information
• Portability — you can view and manually export your data at any time
